I just discovered the user palettes recently too - these are brilliant for collecting togther my most often used tools - including scripts. There are just so many things that HA can do and asking here really is the best possible way of getting help/support. I went bananas with this problem for ages. and could not move them where I wanted ( linked to staff). I often put images (fingering images of diatonic accordeon chords ) on my scores, using the 'insert graphic' tool of this pallet. You won't lose anything in the deal !
